DESCRIPTION: Favre Leuba & Co., Locle, lever pocket watch with spherical balance spring, 19 jewels, key wind and set, cotes de Geneve decorated nickel bar movement with counterpoised lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, gold timing screws and gold wheel train in an 18 karat, yellow gold, reeded edge, engine turned hunting case with maker's details engraved on gold cuvette, and Roman numeral, single sunk, white enamel dial, plum colored steel Breguet style hands, serial #16183, 52mm, 131.3g TW, c1875.
CONDITION: CASE: A few minor dings and pin pricks; Fine scratches on outer surface of case; Fine scratches on inner surface of case; Engine turning with minor wear; Precious metal content marked. DIAL: Spider hairlines, 11:00. HANDS: Replaced. MOVEMENT PLATES: Originally freesprung, now with later regulator and engraved index on bottom plate; Minor scratches on plate; Bridge screw replaced and with minor oxide; Balance endstone setting screw with damaged head; Oily/ dirty. MOVEMENT FUNCTION: Running order (winds, sets and ticks) .
